It’s true – one of the most important qualities of a successful leader is their attention to the need for recognition, appreciation and celebration. The Lead4Change lessons teach these concepts in easy to apply activities.
The recognition exercise is taught in the last lesson. This approach to a simple way to recognize each team member and person involved in your project really works! Students will enjoy, rather than dread, the action of writing appreciation notes to each participant.
The last lesson in Lead4Change teaches a three-fold approach to celebration – individual recognition, self reflection on your role, and sharing your story with the world. Each part of this celebration process teaches motivation, reflection, recognition and the art of truly celebrating the end of your work.
We invite you to use these techniques in any area of your school or club work. And remember, when you share your story in the Lead4Change Challenge, your students can win up to $10,000 so the work they started will continue. We believe that leaders who share their story bring attention and resources to their work that could not be achieved on their own.
Share your story today – and let us join your celebration!!
