PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The student body at Menchville High School are making a big difference in the community and learning a valuable lesson in the process.
The Monarchs have a school wide community service program partnered with a national program called Lead2feed and the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank to serve the community.
Menchville has been awarded over $35,000 dollars in the past two years from Lead2feed and all of it has gone to the foodbank.
