Lead4Change also meets the community service requirement for many associations, clubs, and school districts.
In select states (Ohio, Texas, and Iowa), Lead4Change is credentialed for credit toward graduation.
Yes! Students who complete our Core Curriculum and submit their service project can apply for the Lead4Change Small Grants Program and win up to $10,000 for their school or a nonprofit. Learn more about the Small Grants Program, here!

Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions from educators who are just getting started—from what the program is all about to how to bring it into your classroom, club, or advisory.
You’ll find everything in your Lead4Change Library. Head to the “Collections” page, choose your resource, and save it to your Library for easy access anytime through your dashboard.
Once you choose your project pathway (Standard or Plus), create a team of 3+ students in your dashboard and guide them through the Core Curriculum.
- Standard Submissions require a short teacher reflection (5–10 minutes).
- Plus Submissions include student work samples and project photos. You can submit anytime—but if you’re applying for a Small Grant, submissions are open October 1 – June 1 each school year.
Yes! Our Instructional Coaches are here for you. Whether you need help planning lessons, brainstorming project ideas, or customizing the curriculum to your setting, you can book time with our team.

Definitely. Our flexible framework works well in all kinds of learning environments beyond the classroom—like clubs, camps, and after-school programs.
Yes—teamwork is a key part of the Lead4Change experience. Each service project must be completed by a group of three or more students.
Yes! Each year, student teams can apply for our Small Grant Program as part of a Plus Project Submission. In 2024–2025 alone, we awarded over $250,000 to support student-led projects across the country. You can learn more here.
